We specialize in the treatment of anxiety, trauma, stress, and related conditions. We begin each therapeutic relationship with a thorough diagnostic evaluation so that we can truly get to know you, your strengths, your struggles, and your goals. This will also provide you an opportunity to meet and get to know our counselors, who are licensed professionals trained in helping you take charge and overcome your biggest obstacles. We're here to help you reach peak mental health performance... because anxiety and stress should not control you. We provide counseling for adults, adolescents, and children. We use proven Evidence-Based Treatments to provide individual, group, couples, and family therapy.

In addition to therapy, we offer a variety of psychological testing services, including neuropsychological evaluations, academic testing, therapeutic assessments, autism evaluations, and vocational assessments. Our evaluations are specifically tailored to meet your individual needs. We want you to walk away from testing with a greater understanding of yourself and your abilities. When testing is complete, you will be provided specific feedback with recommendations by a licensed psychologist. For employers, we also offer pre-employment evaluations.

Dr. Carissa Douglas, PsyD

Dr. Douglas has a passion working with children and adolescents. She specializes in depression, anxiety, bipolar, trauma, substance use, and working with military families. She also specializes in treating clients diagnosed with Selective Mutism (SM).

Dr. Douglas received her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) at Alliant International University, Alhambra. She has training and experience in evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Seeking Safety. Dr. Douglas has a passion working with children and adolescents. She specializes in depression, anxiety, bipolar, trauma, substance use, and working with military families.

After Graduating from CSPP, she worked in the school system for the Department of Defense as a School Psychologist and Guidance Counselor on a military base in Japan. This gave Dr. Douglas the opportunity to provide psychoeducational testing services and assist children and their families through the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and 504-plan processes. Dr. Douglas assisted teachers in finding ways to support children in the classroom. She also provided counseling services to military families and seminars to parents regarding various mental health topics.

Dr. Douglas was the program director at an adolescent treatment center which specializes in assisting adolescents with depression, anxiety, and substance use. She worked closely with the adolescents and their families providing individual, family, and group therapy services to help the teens find ways to be successful at home and in the community.

Dr. Lindsay Haig, PsyD

Dr. Haig specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, bipolar, trauma, and substance use in children, adolescents, and adults. She is also training in the treatment of clients diagnosed with Selective Mutism (SM).

Dr. Haig received her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) at Alliant International University, San Diego. She has training and experience in evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Seeking Safety. Dr. Haig has a passion for incorporating mindfulness-based interventions in her treatment of children, adolescents, and adults.

Dr. Haig has a wide range of clinical experiences. She has worked at several non-profits, during which she provided individual, group, and family therapy to individuals diagnosed with depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use. After graduating from CSPP, Dr. Haig worked as a therapist at a residential mental health and substance use facility for adolescents and their families. These experiences also provided Dr. Haig with the opportunity to provide psychological testing as well as supplementary services, such as neurofeedback and biofeedback to target symptoms of anxiety, depression, and substance use.

Dr. Clarissa Gosney, PsyD

Dr. Gosney specializes in psychological testing and in the treatment of anxiety, trauma, and depression in children, adolescents, and adults. She also specializes in working with clients diagnosed with Selective Mutism (SM).

Dr. Gosney received her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) at Alliant International University, San Diego. She has training and experience in evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). She also has training and experience in the use of biofeedback therapy to help manage anxiety, depression, and chronic pain.

Prior to her doctoral studies, she obtained her Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy while working as a Special Education teacher and Student Services Coordinator in both public and charter school systems. She has experience in providing individual, couples, and family therapy to clients of all ages.

Dr. Gosney has training and experience in treating Selective Mutism (SM), including having worked as a Counselor at Mighty Mouth, a 4-day intensive therapy program for children with Selective Mutism. In treating her own clients with SM, she uses Parent-Child Interaction Therapy for Selective Mutism (PCIT-SM) skills, CBT, and Exposure. She provides individual and family treatment for children, adolescents, and young adults with Selective Mutism.
