When an employer asks for clearance
The most common situation is a conditional offer. An applicant is accepted, discloses a mental health history at some point in the hiring process, and the employer requests a psychological evaluation confirming fitness for the role before a start date is set.
Agencies that hire at volume generally have their own assigned evaluator for routine screening. We take the cases that fall outside that process, where an applicant needs an independent evaluation to answer a specific question the standard screening did not resolve.

Before testing
Send us the employer's written request or requirements. What they ask for determines which instruments are administered.
Testing
Administered by a licensed clinical psychologist. We do not use psychometrists or testing technicians.
Report
A written report signed by a clinical psychologist, returned within 30 days of the final testing session, or sooner on an expedited timeline.
Briefing
A personalized session explaining the results before anything is released.
Release

Before you call
How quickly can this be done?
We have no waitlist and can usually schedule within days. The standard report timeline is 30 days after the final testing session, and expedited return is available for an additional fee. Tell us your deadline on the first call so we can tell you immediately whether it is achievable.
What should I send you before the appointment?
The employer's written request, and any specification of what the evaluation must cover or what instruments are required. Employers differ, and what they ask for determines what we administer.
Who sees the report?
Only who you direct, after you sign a release. You are briefed on the findings before anything is sent.
Will the report say I am cleared?
The report states what the evaluation found. We conduct the evaluation, report the findings accurately, and abide by strict ethical standards. We cannot guarantee that the contents will satisfy your employer's requirements, and we do not adjust findings to produce a particular outcome.
What we can do is complete a thorough evaluation, on your timeline, documented to a standard employers recognize. You are briefed on the findings before anything is released, and nothing is sent without your signature.

Is this covered by insurance?
Employment-related evaluations are generally private pay and are typically not a covered benefit. We provide an itemized superbill on request, and accept credit and debit cards, HSA, FSA, and CareCredit. See psychological testing for policies.
